I started delving into crypto and blockchain in 2019, during my final year of University. I was captivated by its potential to make finance more efficient and accessible, increase our sovereignty and freedom, and unlock new ways of human coordination. It didn't take long for me to want to pursue a career in crypto, leaving behind my aerospace engineering path. Blockchains are an open canvas for innovation and efficient systems, and I wanted to contribute to the paradigm shift.

Today, I am an Investment Analyst at 3x Capital, a web3 venture capital fund and accelerator. It is a dynamic role where I analyse venture investment opportunities in web3, and support startups in our Venture Launch accelerator program, a collaboration between 3x and the Solana foundation. I've helped startups with a range of strategic initiatives like Fundraising, Tokenomics, Go to market, and Project management.

Before 3x, I've had roles as a crypto analyst for a tradfi asset manager, and as a research lead for an education and investment-focused startup. I've also written articles for CoinBureau, the highest youtube subscribers crypto channel.

When not thinking about crypto, I spend my time in the climbing gym, playing the guitar, in rock music gigs, reading books, travelling, and watching football, F1 or esports.

A Computer Vision-powered Golf Swing Analysis App

I created a mobile app that used AI and computer vision to analyze golfers' swings and provide feedback. I used Flutter for the mobile app and Python and OpenCV for the backend. In the end, I decided not to continue pursuing the opportunity as the market size wasn't large enough for a product that required large development efforts, had several competitors, and was limited by the difficulty of always using consistent angles when recording.
